Mock Rounds: GD, PI, Aptitude Test

As a part of the placement training activity, mock round session was planned for Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Aptitude test dated 28 th October 2017 at Oakbrook Business School.

The objective of this exercise was to make the student get a feel of the real life corporate challenges they will face when they appear for placement selection processes. 58 students participated in the process. Each student took two rounds of PI, one round of GD, and 2 different types of Aptitude Test.


In the process of GD, students were given topics at random and they discussed the topics from which each student was counseled by the expert for their shortcomings/ improvement areas required for participation on group discussions.

During the PIS, the students were interviewed by two different panel members each comprising of one corporate expert and one faculty member. This helped the students in understanding the basic required of participation in PI, their attire and presentability, their domain knowledge, body language, communication skills, and understanding
importance of JD.

The students were asked to undergo the verbal and analytical online aptitude test, within a given time frame. All these activities made the students aware of the areas of improvement they need to work upon.


The full session of each round of GD/PI were recorded for future references and counseling of students to improve their employability score.
