DAY I

11 th August : Orientation for sem III students was organized with a view to orient them for the last 2 semesters of the MBA program. They were briefed with the subjects to be studied, projects to be undertaken & preparation for the placement activity. Eminent speakers from the industry were invited to guide the students.

The program started with a welcome note given by the director of the Institute, Dr. Sourbhi Chaturvedi followed by the inaugural where there was formal lamp lighting by the dignitaries & the prayer

Later the Chief Guest of the program Mr. Atul Upadhyay, CEO, SMPS Consultants addressed the audience who in his speech explained the students the ideology of some important principles to be followed for a successful life ahead like honesty, integrity & consistency. He also explained the students to be grateful for all the opportunities & the benefits that they have got & try to explore them to the fullest. One mantra that he wanted the students to remember is that “do not ever ecxpect work life balance till the age of 40”. Stretch yourself to the maximum & work hard to achieve your dreams was what he urged the students.

In the Address given by Guest of Honour Dr. N.N. Jani, Executive Director, Greenfield Control Systems emphasized his point that, “every citizen has an important role in the undertaking of the nation’s development; however, the educated ones have a greater opportunity and consequently a greater responsibility towards this contribution”.

Dr. N.N. Jani left the future business leaders present in the auditorium, with valuable insights, advising them to benchmark themselves always with the best in the world keeping focus on execution, as the need of the day is to bring efficiency and excellence in professional lives.

The program ended with a formal vote of thanks by Ms. Shraddha Seth

DAY II

11 th August : Day II of orientation was industrial visit to Amul Fed. The students got a wonderful opportunity to visit the entire plant & understand the working. They were also made to relate all the management concepts that they study to the practical environment. The visit was quite informative & was enjoyed by the students.

The students were then asked to give presentations on the learning outcomes of the Industrial Visit. The students were divided into groups of 7-8 each & were asked to share their experiences, observations & learning from the visit
